What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini energy is Shakti energy, divine female energy. This energy is coiled round like a snake, located in the base of the spine. This energy is normally dormant in most people, but when this energy opens up slowly and flows upwards freely through the seven main chakras, our energy centre's. It leads to an expanded state of consciousness.

Terms & Conditions to be mindful of:

Before practicing an online yoga class, please read this.. 

​

1. Food: Do not eat a heavy meal before class, please allow 1 1/2 – 2 hours for food to digest.

 

2. Create Your Space: Make sure you have enough space around you for your practice where you are not going to be disturbed, and that you are on level, non slip flooring.

 

Clear of any furniture, babies, and pets as these could be a tripping hazard. 

Safety first. Please check, every time before each session, it is your responsibility to stay safe from injury.

 

3. Existing Injuries & Health Concerns: If you have any existing injuries please take care to avoid any further injury. You are participating at your own risk, Maya Dattani is not responsible for any further injury.

 

If you are unsure if this class is suitable for you or have any medical issues, please consult your GP before beginning these classes. This is your responsibility, so please take it seriously. 

 

4.  Do Not Substitute for Proper Medical Advice: The techniques and suggestions presented in this website and associated membership programs and social media sites are not intended to substitute for proper medical advice. 

 

5. Pregnancy: These classes aren’t suitable for pregnant ladies unless you have practiced Kundalini yoga on a regular basis already. – if you are pregnant and would like to try yoga I recommend contacting a specialised pregnancy yoga teacher.

 

Please note; Breath of fire is not suitable for pregnant women or women who are menstruating, please replace it with long deep breathing.

 

6. This is a subscription service, and you are able to cancel at any time. You just need to cancel your direct debit yourself on your end. No questions asked.. There are no refunds if you forget. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

7. By signing up to any of my classes or programmes, your participation in any Kundalini yoga class is full at  your own risk. Maya Dattani does not take any responsibility.
