Charity Yoga Event for the Homeless people of Milton Keynes

24th January 2017

Over 35 people turned out for the event at Wavendon Community Centre on Tuesday evening, the yoga class was buzzing with Maya Dattani teaching Kundalini yoga, the yoga of awareness. This class was teaching students how to elevate themselves to their highest potential. There were lots of yoga postures with breath, mantras, meditation and relaxation to end the class. The yoga was followed by beautiful live music from local artists Jess Anlow and Reeds and local mendhi artist painting hands and feet by Reena Mak. There were some lovely stalls and also herbal teas and vegan cake on offer. Lastly, the event finished off with a big raffle with some exciting prizes that were donated by local businesses in Milton Keynes. The yoga event raised £576.35 and donations are still coming forward. A lovely evening for a great cause. x

I would like to give my sincere gratitude to all the people who made the charity night possible.
