Bringing Life Into Balance With Kundalini Yoga

& The Peaceful Calm Practice Of Yogic Sleep

Finding balance in life is like finding a needle in a haystack. Work, home, kids, partners, families. How do you get this balance right? I’ve read books, I’ve spoken to lots of people, and tried lots of different things.

As a business owner, wife and mother of a teenage son, life can get overwhelming at times and everything seems to revolve around work. You end up spending less quality time with the children and even less with your partner once kids have gone to sleep. By then you’re falling asleep in front of the TV as you are so drained of energy and all you want to do is shut down and go to bed…

Who can relate to this?

You see the only thing that seems to work for me, is to take time so that I can rest and replenish my energy. This is different from sleeping. This helps me come from a higher energy source.

I do this by slowing down and tuning into myself, taking a few deep breaths connecting to the present moment; or by practising yoga, sometimes this may be a full hour other times it may be a quick 15 minutes. Some days I dig out my journal and just write, write, write. Whatever works for me that day, but finding time for me is paramount.

The thought of rolling out my yoga mat and closing my eyes excites me as I know what will follow. That feeling of being content, the feeling of bliss and the attitude that I can take on the world!! More importantly, it gives me clarity so that I don’t feel overwhelmed.

This helps me become more efficient and present in all areas of my life. And a happier person to be around.

The first part of this workshop we will create our own Wheel of Life. To see where we are spending most of our energy and what areas of our life needs more work so that we can create a harmonious balance.

We will then take part in a kundalini yoga practice to bring balance into our everyday life. This will consist of dynamic postures with breath awareness, mantras and meditations. Helping us connect energetically to the earth. This brings us focus, direction, control as well as peace. Allowing us to be more authentically in our bodies.

We will then take a short break for tea and time to mingle.

The second part of the workshop is Yoga Nidra ( yogic sleep) this will be an opportunity to snuggle up with your blanket and completely switch off while I lead you through a deep guided relaxation. This will leave you feeling relaxed, recharged and rebalanced, ready to take on life with a whole new energy…

This workshop is designed for any ability as you are able to take it at your own pace.

Even if you have never tried yoga before.
