For a long time, I felt like I was a mouse in the corner of the room. Growing up I was shy and afraid to speak my mind, I would always try and please others in order for them to like me and try and blend into the crowd so that I wouldn’t stand out.
I was bullied at school and this really knocked my confidence. Horrible things happen to nice people, sometimes we are too afraid to confront the situation or we live in hope that things will change. Sometimes we do confront the situation and don’t get the results that we had wished for.
If I dwell on every situation from my past I wouldn’t be who I am today. It can be hard but I have learned to accept what has happened, forgive and let go.

Kundalini yoga has really helped me along the way. It has made me connect to the pain and release the blocks that held me back for many years. I have found this new inner confidence that I never knew existed. And I really feel happy and content, with whom I have become.
I main thing I have learned is that what I think of myself matters so much more than what other people think of me.
